Premiere: The Meek's Prayer

Well, my foray into musical revisionism is now fully realized, with a video rendition of The Meek’s Prayer, complete with a prelude and words. It is patterned after, and sung to The Lord’s Prayer, and yet offers a very clear and distinctly different view of one’s relationship to Divinity, affirming that it is, and comes from within the speaker.

This approach removes any ambiguity with respect to connectivity to source, and encourages us to take a fresh look at our personal and collective beliefs.

If God is outside of us, then so is the transformational power that one must call upon to achieve any noble or beneficial goal or ideal. And yet, if we don’t do it (i.e., reach for and achieve noble and beneficial ideals), who will?

A Postscript

Oh, by the way… you’ll notice www.adamabraham.com at the end of the video. I created the site not too long ago. It is a WordPress blog as well. I will eventually migrate the Thought for Food archive there, and consolidate my other activities, such as the Talk for Food radio show, Phaelos Books (www.phaelos.com), and so on.
